The European Research Executive Agency hosted the project to policy seminar on the 30th June – 1st July 2022 in Brussels. MED1stMR was invited to present the project ambitions and their policy relevance.
The aim of this seminar was to highlight the European Commission developing policies linked to security aspects (e.g. DG ECHO, DG HOME, etc.) and foster interaction with research projects that are working in these areas. Several H2020 projects from the area “disaster resilient societies” were present and demonstrated that they understand policy goals on a European level. It was an excellent opportunity for projects to network with policy-makers and establish synergies with related projects.
MED1stMR was represented by the Coordinator AIT – Austrian Institute of Technology, Center for Technology Experience and Dissemination lead USECON – The Usability Consultants GmbH. The project’s challenges, objectives, approach, expected results and the involvement of the end-users were briefly presented and discussed. Furthermore, the foundation for a more intensive cooperation with other projects could be laid.
