On April 17th & 18th 2024, the final conference of MED1stMR was held in Ranst, Belgium. As the chance to present the results of the Horizon2020 project MED1stMR after 3 years of research and development to the public, a program with consortium-internal and external speakers who underlined the MED1stMR main message, was composed. We welcomed over 100 participants from 13 European countries from the health sector and first responder organisations. A main highlight in parallel to over 12 talks/presentations was to experience the tangible results of the project: 2 try-out stations for mixed reality training. Almost all participants used this opportunity. Another focus beside presentations and try-outs was to build up a network that might sustain over the period of the project. Workshops to make people more engaged and exchange with other participants were set-up as well as all consortium members on-site actively enhanced the exchange between the participants. To round up these offers, we provided an experience fair in the entrance/break area of the final conference. The consortium partners had booths to present their organisations and companies and to show projects results and beyond to the attending target group.
